Brand adhesive used for Sony LCD mount - GSM-Forum

Hello,

I'm (almost) desparately searching for the brand of double sided tape used to mount Sony LCD/TP in het plastic frame.

As everyone can see, its not the standard 3M tape you can buy everywere around ebay. Its different, a bit thicker, foamy and has an elastic filling effect.

Can anyone provide this tape or point me in the right direction. This would make doing repairs a lot easier

Hello, do you find this tape? i Searching too. I think this tape will be good for repair all phone. I try some 3M and other tape, but result is not good.

Hi, unfortunatly not...apparently nobody is able (or willing) to provide this tape.

sony oem not found. This tape for my link it not good for me.

Any news? Maybe some body find good result for double sided tape?

Use ordinary adhesive and then apply just a little bit of loctite 410 super glue with a toothpick or something similar on the corners. It will never come off and this super glue is easily taken off when you apply some heat making it easy if you need to replace another screen.

The thing you are looking is on aliexpress, try "double sided foam tape 0.5mm" on search.
