Member: 3212 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 10 | Brand adhesive used for Sony LCD mount I'm (almost) desparately searching for the brand of double sided tape used to mount Sony LCD/TP in het plastic frame. As everyone can see, its not the standard 3M tape you can buy everywere around ebay. Its different, a bit thicker, foamy and has an elastic filling effect. Can anyone provide this tape or point me in the right direction. This would make doing repairs a lot easier Thanks. Regards. |

Member: 190184 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 31 | Use ordinary adhesive and then apply just a little bit of loctite 410 super glue with a toothpick or something similar on the corners. It will never come off and this super glue is easily taken off when you apply some heat making it easy if you need to replace another screen. |
