C902

I have a problem with the C902.
Whenever the phone rings, the tone comes out very distorted so I presume the ringer has been ****n.
Can anyone tell me where I can get a new one?? Will the ringers from other SE phones work?

Thanks

Chris

Did you ever sort this out?
I actually have a repair to do tonight with the same problem
Strange thing was that I tried another speaker module but that had the same problem (and I tested both speakers in another phone and its fine!)

Sounds almost like the board is causing extra power to the speakers

OK resolved this
Basically, the unit had liquid damage (sticker had been activated)
Even though I replaced the speaker unit, it still had the same problem

The problem was actually caused by the cover itself... soon as you screw it from the front, it starts again
There is a rubber grommit that goes under it which would sit above the speaker unit
The liquid ruined this

I put some rubber around this area ensuring the speaker was not blocked...screwed it back and its fine
