d750i dead?

Hi everyone,
today my phone died. Yesterday everything was ok - phone worked without a single problem. Today when I woke up I saw that it's switched off. I tried many many times to turn it on but nothing helps (removing battery, sim card etc). I charged it yesterday so it presumably isn't a battery problem. Today it even won't charge. Completely nothing! It didn't fall down or get wet. I just put it on my cupboard in the night and in the morning no sign of live.
The only thing, though, which happens when I plug charger into it it the red diode (next to IR) - it lights constantly as long as charger is plugged. I read that when this diode blinks it means the battery is low. But my doesn't blink. Instead it is just on all the time.
What could have happened? The phone is still under warranty but I'm abroad till december so I'm not able to take it to the service center now. Is there something I can at least try to do or warranty is only option here?
Thx.
