I need to practise my soldering skills, do you know some good channel with good quality soldering lessons?

Baladeva 06-06-2017 12:21

You mean micro soldering, right? Considering main board repair?

My Xperia Z3 Compact does not turning on, only red light. Do you have some tip what can I do?

Your motherboard is damaged you need to make some soldering to get it back to work. This is how to do it:

Red light means that the mainboard is damaged you must replace it or do some soldering stuff.

Baladeva 10-10-2017 06:35

It is damage cause by the IR1505 chip which need to be reheat or replaced.

danielsoon 10-16-2017 06:40

Reheating will not resolve the problem permanently, this method works when we need to regain the important data from the phone.

danielsoon you are right, sometimes reheating is not enough, but it takes less time, effort and money to perform :)

Baladeva 11-08-2017 07:35

You need to perform a professional reheating stuff, it takes time! You need to choose optional flux and temperature so the whole process will be effective.
