Member: 39014 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 7 | Dead W900 , I have one DEAD W900 , and uts 100% Hardware since I checked the Batterey connectors with Ohmeter and the reading was 0 OHM ( Short CCt ) The customer said that they were trying to donload some pictures and songs from a PC and they connected teh USB cable and the phone stopped so maybe the reason is from the Wrong USB connecton in the PC side specially with locally assembled Cases where the front USB connector is plugged manually. If anyone can help me with W900 schematics to see the sonnection diagram and which Filter is responsible for power. I also checked the system connector PIN 1 (DCIO) and PIN4 ( GND ) and I had large resistance " Strange " any help will be highly appriciated. THanks |

Member: 117968 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 27 | possible problem cause.. hi. all when DCIO (charging power input) is at low resistance, it may cause your USB datacable or charger to ****! so don't connect to it since u know it is shorting, it is also not possilble to do flashing or charging. Action to be taken : find the ESD protect IC where nearest to the charging part. remove it & do take resistance measurement again, if ok, just replace it then will solve your problem. |
