Post Eric stay powered up when I hold the "No" button pressed.


when I release the button, it turns off. What could be a problem? I checked batt connection, checked keyboard tracks - everything ok. Phone almost new (1 week). Please help! it's common problem on many ericcson phones.

I tried to reflash also. when I release the no button, program gives me error "bad response". It's definitaly hardware problem. I thinks some resistor or capasitor or smth like that. please help!

ok, thanks all who helped me, especially mobileking. I replaced a transistor with wrong one, it didn't work. THen I replaced with another working one and now phone is working... but can't find a network... What to replace now? PA, filter or something else? <img src="smile.gif" border="0"> )

this transistor has 5 legs and located on opposite side of NO button (component side). good luck!
