Ericsson T28S weird fault? - GSM-Forum

Just as call is about to connect i can hear a clicking noise within the phone, with no connection made?
Any help appreciated

Got it working again , now phosphur panel not lighting up, what part of the cricuit controls this light?

there is a coil and small ic near DSP, check it, may be You damage it while rehotting DSP

i found a short on the ic, but still after all i have done it seems to work for days on end sometimes then it will suddenly come up with no access? i have flashed it, what else should i be looking at?

no access- mostly bad PA or bad soldering of PA, You need repair ericsson with care, It's very sensitive to temp, use ~230
