Ericsson T29 self switching off and back on - GSM-Forum

I have a problem with Ericsson T29. The problem is in self switching off and then back on normaly like when turned on with long press of NO key. Sometimes the screen is distorted or black often when manualy power on when animation starts, then stop responding on any key (network led continually ligting) and can be turned off only with battery removing.

I was think this is a software problem and try to change flash and
eprom from working phones and from files downloaded from internet
but no succes.

I hope the someone can help me to solve this problem, please.

Did you get a solutoin for your problem?? I have got same problem like you posted here...<<< the animation sometimes comes and screen become blured etc..

Please reply if you get final soluton for it

Did you find a solutoin for your T29 problem... i have faced same problem after unlocking please post your result if you solved it.

You should try changing charging IC 4CR placed near the CPU. I had several phone solved this way.
