Few hints to start thread :) SE repair ...

T610 - T630

This wont help for professionals, because I'm not he too so lets say that it's for newbe...

1. Phone dead.

a) Best choise to use some power suplie with ampermeter (I prefer analog), connect + - to phones connector, and pressing pw switch you have to see some activity.

b) Activity = ok, connect to twister cable. Try to use monitor in twister, to see what info phone will send to pc. If no twister available, you can use simple T28

cable and RUN / hypertrm.exe in windows

c) Analyse info that you got from terminal. Always SE stops on some error*

d) No info in terminal. Open phone, check for wather damage near system connector. Specially N750, If there are some wather, clean - rehot - change that chip. Reconnect to terminal.

Usual failures:

Red light on, but no switch on.

On Terminal you will something like that:

sound test failed (dont remember exactly) (T610, T630)

Solution: usualy D800, under camera and shield. Rehot it.

Phone can switch on without sim, but cannot with. Switched on without sim, cannot be switched off.

Solution: usualy V730 - V731.

Short circuit on phone's batt connector

Solution: N750, PA.

Hope it will be good start for discution about SE hardware repair, and good answers for usual problems.

p.s. I think there is no problem, to find T610 schematics anymore
