Joystick remove process with photo...!!! - GSM-Forum

Hello friends can anybody teach the right way of replace joysticks ?? post joystick removing process here with photos if possible.

Hello and welcome and sorry for my English

My process of removing joy is :

1. I take a little tin and solder all 8 contacts of joy
2. then use tape for de-soldering and remove tin
3. finally use a hot-air to remove joy from PCB

when i didn't use tin and tape (1. i 2.) it was very hard to remove joy without destroying pad-s under the joy

Now it's easy.

U can use only hot air to remove the joystick. Just litlle high temp and u are done
