K600i partial stick and keypad malfunction

Hi all,

I have the following strange(?) problem with my K600i. Sometimes the joystick does not work in both the rigth and up-direction but 'down' and 'left' work well. Furthermore the volume keys, the shortcut key and the camera trigger (all on the phones right side) do not respond. Sometimes the joystick and all other keys work fine.

I have dismanteld the phone and discovered the following. Shortcut and camera key are parts of the K600's keypad but volume keys and joystick are soldered on the boards surface.

If have cleaned the keypad cable. After that all keys and the stick worked for one day (maybe accidentally?) but now I have the same problem as before. I do not asume the joystick or one button is broken because either all buttons and the stick work perfectly or the described buttons and 2 stick direction do not work at all. I also do not beliefe the keypad cable is broken, 'cause some keys are soldered on the board an others are part of the keypad.

What's going wrong here? Any ideas?

Regards
Bioabfall
