k700 backlight


got a water damaged k700i all working ok now except no backlight on lcd.
lcd works fine in another unit,so fault is on main pcb.any solution to this problem or schematics for this area would be appreciated.

Hi. all. i also don't understand what description is.. but from the pic shown that if u cant find that ic, u may remove two components from other m/board then place to k700 by modify the circuit..

yep you need to mod main pcb as in diagram by adding the 2 transistors and remove led driver ic,and also mod the display led's and put them in parallel as normally they are in series and remove the diode from led board.

Hey man,
works perfect! Today i repaired 2pcs with this solution, both was water damaged.
It is little big difficult, but works!
But third K700 i have here doesnt accept this solution
MAybe there are more fu*ked spares then only those bga...
