K700I Hanging - GSM-Forum

Hi guys,

I have a k700i wich hangs in the kanguage menu at startup. I have tryed all software solutions that i could find using SEtool, Cruiser and all the rest but with no succes. I am 100% sure it is a hardware fault but I can't figure it out. I rehotted the whole PCB reballed the Cpu but still i have this error. The interesting part is that when I insert a sim card and try to call from another phone i hear the calling sound but the phone does not show anything.After i end the call the phone restarts. You guys have any clue what is to be done?

there is afile (fix lang ) on setool did u use it i was having the same problem when i used it all is fine and here it is write it as gdfs

just flash with honkong flash file with ufs(sonic) or write gdfs & unlock it

i have tryed all software solutions as you can see in my previous post. With all boxes and dongles that flash/unlock SE. This is not a software problem.IT IS A HARDWARE PROBLEM and this is why i posted in the SonyEricsson Hardware and Hardware-Repair Area.

You can "Service change unit" and then unlock, do not customize with any area ! I've succeed in some case ! Try it !

where did you say you saw that button for k700i freezing again cos there is no such button.

you are used to smd reworks station from eeprom and processor area .please note that your machine heat is slow .because your machine speed is high the phone is dead.

heat or replace your bluetooth module.
remove your mmc also to see the difference.

from what other phone is the bluetooth module compatible ? because i don't have another k700.

K700 doen't have MMC slot

Oops!,Was half sleeping.
I m not sure which other phone can share the bt module.But , if you can find another dead k700, try to heat the current with 50/50 heat and see result.70% YOUR PROBLEM IS THERE.

yES, THAT BUTTON EXIST on the Arash Patched sonics.
But, in this case, the guy said he used all softs with no chance.

i think the proble is the BT I tryed to rehot it but no luck...i do think i have to change it but where to get a compatible BT module?And i really need to know how this happened because the phone look perfect no water no shok nothing

problem is not BT,bu other hardware failure. wait few day's and i will give solution about.
