k700i insert sim ? - GSM-Forum

I have k700i brand new, board clean, 4 days old, no fisical damage with problem "insert sim" with sim inside. Anybody have ideas ?
Wich IC is for sim reader ? Link for shematic diagram ?

re-solder the sim reader!!!

I"ve checked contacts and they are ok. Any other solution ?

Same problem fellow K700i owners , strip down and thorough clean but no joy.
Phone was fine until it became damp while in my pocket on one hot and sweaty day . Love this phone and hope it opens up to me again someday!
