Member: 349098 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | K750 insert sim!!!! I have a k750i which probly is water damage. I have searched this forum and found that I need to change the N2600 ic. Now to my question's 1. Where to buy 1 pcs of N2600? Anyone know were? 2. How to solder the ic back on pcb? Can I use my hot air station? Anyone give me a hint? Best Regards |

Member: 319112 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 164 | If Truely The Insert Sim Problem Arose As A Result Of Water Damage, Then You May Follow This Simple Process. 1. Try Clean The Pcb With Spirit Minding The Small Components. 2. After A While, Apply Soldering Paste To The Sim Ic And Then Adjust The Rework Station To About 230 Degrees Celcius With Moderate Air, And Then Rework The Ic For About 10 Minutes. 3. Allow The Pcb To Cool Down And Then Check To See The Result. I Have Advised You This Way Because The Issue Of Changing In A New Sim Ic Is Not An Easy Task Especially For Green Horns In Hardware Repairs. |

So now I have a dead phone instead. You don't know were to buy a spare mainboard(not pcb as I was refering to in the first post). Best Regards |
