K800 no backlight - GSM-Forum

Pls help, I got a K800 with no keypad backlight and LCD backlight. is there any jump solution?

are the lcd screen connectors fine? no corrosion? if not then try a different screen .

LCD is fine. I have tried alot of LCD and all no backlight, keypad also dun have backlight

i dont have pic but i had a similar problem and i repaired it by means of linking a damaged track check the first pin top side of connector right side and measure for continuity to the 3rd gold plated pad on the pcb its the row running vertically with four pads its almost next to keyad connector.hope it helps i dont have pic to make it easier.otherwise you must check power supply diode and ic.post result.
