Member: 22208 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 9 | just short two points where the aerial used to be. the connector is made up of 4 points. Each pair of these points is short to the second. What i mean is, u av 4 points with 2 points shorted together but isolated from the other two points which are also shorted. Now that the connector is no more there. U can get a signal by putting a jumper wire (or shorting) the point going to the PA to it continuous pair (assuming the connector was there. I hope you understand. Ill try to take a cut out from the service manual and post here. good luck |

Member: 7939 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 2 | I get the bit about shorting out the pairs, but a jumper to the PA that bit has lost me, right off to short some points out. Many thanks Also if you need to mail big stuff send it to here |

Member: 22208 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 9 | u dont reaslly need a jumper to the PA. just join the two points (that's just 1 of the initial pairs i was talking about b4) that have been left open due to the missing ext aerial connector. The second pair of points u could still leave open (they dont matter). What matters is the pair of points linking to the PA. Good luck! |
