P900 Screen and buttons fail after few seconds .. - GSM-Forum

Guys,

I have a P900 here with a few major problems. First of all is the touch screen. Touch screen will work after the batery is remove after a few hours, but then it will go crazy, then stop working altogether. The flip also like that. When just turn on ok ... after few minutes or seconds .. they will not work. Funny thing is the jog dial works ... up and down .. but after a while when you push down nothing happens ... that's when the flip keys fail ... Which IC is the buttons and touch screen connected to ? Maybe I'll have to reheat or reseat it ...

it looks like u r having some problem with the phone's user interface..
it is a drop damage phone? or water damage phone?
here is some advice:
u may disassembly the phone & clean the dirts on touch screen surface first,
then retry again,
or swap a good unit of flip & touch screen
post result again after u do this..
