p900 Touch screen - GSM-Forum

Hi,
I have a problem with the lower part of my P900's touch screen.

I have searched the forums for a possible solution and have come to the conclusion i will have to replace the touch screen.

Is there a step by step guide available anywhere that shows how to replace touch screen only ? LCD is fine.

I am quite concerned that i will make a complete mess of the job and end up with a phone that wont work at all rather than one i can just get by with.

Is it an easy job ?

I have a new touch screen here ( bought from Ebay (surprisingly cheap) )
and i have a rough idea what the insides of the p900 look like after my last one was run over by a fork lift truck....

Any help would be most welcome.

After opening P900 clean it with spirit and dry it with hot air gun . it will work
