[Q] Sony C4 Only Red Light solution (53XX) - GSM-Forum

Guys I need your help. I just ruined my phone with a failed update process. Now the phone is dead and only the red led response. Permanent red led with the wall charger or when its connected via usb to the PC. I found this in other post related but its only for the Z2 model. Can I apply a similar solution on my C4? Thanks in advance.

Hello,
Your phone boot damaged you need to repair boot via jtag box.

Mm mm ok. Just a last question. What's the best Jtag box for repair the e5306 Boot? Riff Jtag, octopus, z3x, medusa?

I have z3x and atf and the both are good.
I recommend you easy jtag this is my personal opinion.

My friend has the z3x and the octoplus box. Can I repair my e5306 with these boxes? Is possible?

Hello,
You need anther tool setool.
First you need to remove emmc from the board
Then connect is with easy jtag and read emmc after that the file you have readed upload it to the support of setool they will repair it and finally write the file on emmc and resolder it.

I know ifthikar, remove the emmc Is so risky. So Im trying to do a short + s1 tool. Guys, just in case, how to do a short in this model?

S1 tool dons't support C4 models apparently. No luck at this moment. Gonna try some other methods. Brb.
