After the short' the device appear as "USB\VID_0FCE&PID_D1D1\5&2E2E99AF&0&2".

This model is MTK based(MT6752 SoC,) so, maybe... maybe we can restore the boot and logo partition using tools like sp flash tools. I'm not sure about it and I can't test this 'cause I dont have any backup(with scatter)to test. BRB.

don't replcae EMMC and do not write rom1 from another C4 smartphone via jtag boxs.
only solution is repair same emmc on ur phone via jtag boxs.
*attention* cause of new sony security, after ereassing ur EMMC (if you have not backup) no one can help you anymore.
my c4 completly dead after emmc programing via another dump file.

any news about this topic?

I have e5506, downgraded to 5.0, then up to 5.1 (to remove XTP)
then I wanted to flash 6.0 again but when flashtool asked for FSC script I hit NO , phone flashed but now stuck on red logo and unlnown device driver on USB

I have setool , riff, Medusa.
but tis device is MTK

any way other than paying the phone ?
