R310s display flimmer and bad signal - GSM-Forum

Hi

I have some R310s boards that have this problem.

The display gets dark and flimmers and sometimes disappear.....and also the recieving is poor....

It occurs especially when I twist the phone in my hand.

It is not the display or elastomer.

Maybe bad soldered CPU ?

Any more idea ?

display has to do with flex positioning and flip positioning .

check your phone flex positions
check your phone lcd position.
check your phone casing again.
check your phone battery with another battery

Well I think I didnt described the failure correct first time...

The display pattern gets dark and flimmers, the light in the display is no problem with.

I have tested the board in another housing and the problem is still there.

So what do you think ?

I think I have found what was wrong.

When I press on the CPU BGA IC the picture comes back....
I tried to rehot the CPU and the phone was ok for 1 day and then the pattern in the lcd was gone again.

So what is the best way to rehot a component ?
Do I need any chemicals ?
Rehot from the other side (under the BGA) of the board ?

Press on the component ?

Put something on the component while rehotting from underside of board ?

Please anyone with experience give me advise.
