r800 shorted - GSM-Forum

hi
i have here r800 flex cable was bad
i changed cable and tried to turn on the phone with battery but didnt assambled the phone back , i didnt notic i put the battery with backword , +/-.
after i changed direction phone will not turn on and its in full +/- short.
cant find schematics with layout of the board
any help?

anyone ? at least normal board layout with schematics

signal amplifier is short. be removed from the board and do not have short phone. and phone works perfectly

remove the pin form PF after put is back PF

n1800 is component need change or remove the pin and put back

if i understand , need to remove the pf
short is gone , remove 1 pin from the pf and put it back ?

take this ic out , take a knife and remove this pin marked in red
put ic back

Thanks, Phone is alive, but no reception.
Have you got any ideas? will new chip solve the problem?

Is this the IC?

However I want to know how it's possibile that is shorted after change the Flat cable??? It's crazy!
I change me too the flat cable and then the phone work, but two hour after it's dead like you.
