working after 2 months i think...

I think with these solutions you will have a problem with a crackly distorted speaker, especially at higher volumes someone try my solution please??? - that's the only small problem i have, but i can handle it

repair to earphone

just to confirm, the jumper method worked for me too, but the ear speaker was very distorted - must have been damaged. i had to replace it to make the whole thing right.

Hi i work for sony and i repair the C905 . Just replace the KEYPAD FLEX CABLE for earpiece problem and the flex slide for lcd problem .

unfortunately good quality flex cable isnt available and whatever is available gets the same problem again after some time, also for a service center it is easy to replace flex cable because they have access to spares, not so for everyone else.

the solution for the speaker is 1 jumper from speaker to board for ground only
