| Sony Satio U1 Buttons not working Can anyone help me? I have a Sony Satio U1 that none of the external buttons work on. I have taken it apart and cleaned it and checked the connectors / ribbon cables and all looks fine. The unlock keys switch is not part of the side buttons ribbon cable and nor is the three bottom buttons so it doesn't seem to point to a connectivity issue, I feel. I recently flashed it with that Fast GSM thing to get rid of the Vodafone branding and it did the job great. Thinking about it now though, when I did that it required me to hold the green button while connecting the USB lead which worked, further making me suspect a software error. Just to add the buttons never worked previous to flashing with Fast GSM so it wasn't that that caused it. Also is there any way of flashing this phone and getting the flash files for it without paying out money all the time? I used that Omnius ****e that claims to have many free functions but I fail to see any free functions other than backing up your current firmware which on it's own is pretty useless. It also didn't work when I paid to debrand my Satio, making no changes whatsoever and the company ignored my email asking for a refund. Steer clear of those fecking cowboys! |
