Member: 2858189 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | I had this problem. I think it is because of the tape on the top part of the phone in the front. When I had this problem, I pressed down at the top of the phone near the corners. I pressed down either one of the corners or both of the corners and then the thing would start working. It would recognize that it wasn't up to my ear or face and then the screen comes on when I click the power button. I guess the tape on the front part of the phone is bad. Whatever you do. DO NOT REPLACE THE FRONT LCD SCREEN, AND DO NOT REPLACE THE TAPE OF THE FRONT LCD SCREEN. I tried doing that and because of some short circuit problem which is extremely common, the lcd doesn't work now. Apparently some phones need a little tape over some metal part near the lcd connectors by the at the bottom near the back. Some phones start working after people unaolder the metal housing at the top back of the phone and bypass some fuse. |
