T28 kill PA - GSM-Forum

hi 2 all!
I resive T28 with shorted PA. I change it. Phone work ok feu days. But later, begins to drop net - net indikator jump all time and I can`t make any calls. I change PA agane and agane all OK two dajjz. Now net agene jump... Is it defekt Pa or My phone kill PA itself. Hove to fix it?

Hy Porter,
I solve the same case : change the PA and the tx mixer ( Ic sms at the bottom of the batery connector ) and IMPORTANT the two capacitors C 453 and 454 .
Anyway every Ericsson is a particular problem ....
Look at this :
T200 without BF .... when you call but when you push the keypad the sounds are going out of the speaker ... make the call and the speaker is without any sound . Turn it off leave it 1 hour and is working nice for 3 o 4 days again !
We reflash it : no success, change the speaker to be shure : no way ..... I'm looking for this since 1 week and the custommer don't understand ...

Some time ppl don't used ORIGNAL charger.. thats why T28 kill PAs..

some time some other parts are demaged thats why PA become faulty..

I`ll try soon change PA one more time and olso change antena swithch and post results here.

That can be RF processor problem too...

You want say thet bed RF procesor is a PA killer?

I think all next pa are good. just after soldering pa all board are heated and rf proc.
contacts of rf are getting better for some time, then worse.
so change rf .

Sorry for delay...
I am not sure for that,but in 70% cases when I change PA on T28,after that is needed to change RF proc. Mostly,after changing PA,I am getting "no acces" phone,with changing RF proc problem is solved. I had RX/TX mixer bad too,but not in too much cases.
Maybe,when RF proc become "bad",can be PA "killer"

Thats mine experince with this problem...
