T28 No display

Ericsson T28
turn on phone after 2-3 seconds no display
I have changed all parts about display but problem is not solve
Any idea???

have you try to flash new eeprom?


could be corrupted eeprom.

I have flashed phone with latest version software...
and eeprom... But they didn't helpm me...
I thing phone has hardware problem...

You must try to write eprom from the week of phone production, not with the latest version and than flash it. It worked in my case. You can see the year and week of production on the back of the phone.

If you have flashed the phone with diferent eeprom types
and display is still not working it must be hardware problem!!
The first idea is that there is broken lead of the first or last contact i cant remember try checking the lead if u have microscope or test it with resistance meter allways it happens near the pad where rubber from lcd is comeing

T20 work fine but no speaker
heating up the audio ic in most case work 100%
But this one i have same case
turn on phone after 2-3 seconds no display

This is 100% hardware problem. You did not have 6 V on LCD power pin. Try to resolder multimode and audio chips, if still no success, put you phone in to the trash can - you have damaged PCB or cpu.

Yes you right its %100 hardware problem I have rehot Audio IC and multimode IC but still doenst work
I have measured LCDV its some times ~2,4V some times max ~7.1V When is ~7.1V display is fully black...
May be PCB has be reason...
Its BIGGGGGG problem for me Because it's not my PHONE!!!!!

Change 1011120/4CR1A,same IC is for audio,mic and LCD,sometime when audio dont work and You press center of 5,6,8,9 key You hear the sound then try to heat him but not to much.
