T28 call dropping. funny one - GSM-Forum

Hi all

Had a T28 yesterday with the following fault.

Power on, finds network, 3 bars. after 3 min "No Access", but in those 3 min if a call was attempted, when it starts connection after 3 sec, it just dropped the call with a "beep".

Following have been changed in the this T28, in sequence like this

1 : PA
2 : Antanna Switch
3 : TX mixer circuit
4 : RF signal processor <--- This one is normally the culprit as I have noticed fromn other phones ( Made by Ericsson )
5 : 13MHz Crystal Module

And you know what after all this, the SAME fault still remains, aint that a bugger !!!

Anyone had one of these before ?? Any suggestions ??

heat the 2 IC`s under the processor if nothing change them

You mean the flash IC and The MMCC, if so I've already done that, reballed both of them, and upgraded the software, still the same.
