T28s dead

I have just been given a T28s that is dead ,so the first thing i did was to check for a dead short by buzzing out the 2 outer battery connections and as suspected there was a dead short ,so i then removed resistor R051 (left of the PA) and this cured the dead short . But when i tested the resistance of the unsoldered part there was a dead short across this .So can any one tell me what resistance value this has and also what other parts may also be damaged or any other fault diagnoises checks !!!

When you removed the resistor , do your phone powered ON ? , if yes , then your phone is working , but 'no acces' , if no , this mean that there's another short-circuit , usualy at the bottom , near the charger connector. A small Transistor usualy that has a visible mark of burning .
If you have a hot air (or a gaz soldering tool ) , you can remove the PA RM009 then make a jumper as showed in this forum , and you will get a fully working T28 with network nevel enough good to make/receive calls.

Thanks for your reply Kazak

Unfortunately the phone did not power on when i removed the resistor and there is no visible signs of burning at the bottom of the board ! But i will search for PA jumper and try that .
