Member: 7751 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 74 | @GsMen I would suggest that you start with CPU only. All T66 and T600 have this common problem, and for the ones I have "repaired" It's enough to reflow or reball the CPU. Regards |

Member: 78719 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | reflowing CPU? sorry I dont understand this terminology. I dont have any fancy equipment for repair either. Just screw driver and a soldering iron. So far I have used a hair dryer to heat the system board but no luck, still intermittenly no network. The hair dryer got the CPU to get quite hot but I wasnt sure how hot was safe so didnt go too far. Im sure that its something wrong on the system board cos Ive got a T66 and ive tried the antenna and the connecter from it but didnt help. I would appreciate any advice. Thanks. |
