which ribbon could you be talking about
the only ribbon-like connector i can remember in sonyericsson t610 is that of lcd. and in this case the phone is no booting, just a bit of the start up sound when you try to power,
pls friend need all your help.

1. if it power on , it must display on the lcd.
2. dismantle your phone to check your battery connector and your lcd position.

hi I have the same problem on my T610... I did drop it once.. way back in june but it worked fine after that until last weekend, so I don't think that caused it.
Mine dosn't come on at all, just the light on the back of the screen. I'm waiting for a dongle I ordered from ebay then I will reflash it.
I don't know anything about PCB and reheating.. is this hard to do ? is there a tutorial anywhere on line? I'm keen to learn these things.
frances

try all hardware application on your phone before any thing.

if all hardware application do not work, you can re - flash your phone , because, this
t610 phone have problems assocated with software.

bestman.

Dear for you the better solution is to check the hardware first.Hopefully it will be ok.Just reassemble the phone again.
