T610/t630 not charging/flashing - GSM-Forum

hi. i got a t610/t630 here that dont take charing or flashing. i think it was water damaged or something. but the phone work good else were. but i cant charge or flash it. when i took it apart and removed the white stuff that comes from water the gold squerse at the charged contact are bad. some off the gold is gone. but other stuff looks ok. how can i fix this??

Hi.. Fed. since ur phone is in water enter condition, most of the time the +ve of the charging point are either corroted,oxided. the connection must be lost! check +ve contact & charging ic. post result if successful... good luck!!

hi. thx. but im really green on hw repair. where can i find the ic and how can i fix it?

Hi.. fed. u can find this component either in T610 or T630 or T68i.. and its quite simple.. just use ur SMD removal ****er to remove the deffective ic , clean the corroted areas, then carefully put back then waiting for temp cool down... good luck!!

try to clean the connectors with a little alchohol and see what happens.
