Red face T610 won't switch on

Hi My T610 was working fine, then suddenly I found that it has switched its self off and won't switch on again. Sometimes the screen lights up slightly, to a dark blue colour but that is it.. any ideas?

?

Firsty do you think this is a software or hardware problem?

Would deflashing the phone help? I already have a new nokia phone upgrade so my T610 is no longer under guarantee. I have nothing to loose and would like to try and fix it myself.

To deflash I need a cable and software right?
Are there any good tutorials on line?

Frances

For flashing(not DEFLASHING) you need terminator dongle or DIV dongle or SE Fighter,or Tornado...so you can't flash it only with cable. If you need more explanation my ICQ 345 349 412

can you point me in the direction of the dongle I need, do you know of anywhere in the uk I can order one? I've done a bit of reading up found some tutorials on how to do this, and found I can download the software form cellular support.com... does this sound right to you?

don't think it is a damaged LCD as nothing else on the phone is booting up.. ie no sound, etc etc
my dongle arrived this morning, I got it from ebay it was about £12, so I will try and flash it tonight
