Member: 63362 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | T630 display low brightness I have a T630 bought with broken LCD, so I bought a new display and placed, but seems to be less bright even than my T610. Don't think it's a contrast issue, also the consumption is very low (26 mA with lights & BT on). The seller told me to adjust the brightness with the screw placed on the flex cable of the display, but it gave me no results, only distrorced image. Any suggestion? Thank you, regards |

Member: 63362 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Thank you randy, i supposed so! Very poor LCD from china... too bad after being flashed with T630 FW the contrast setting on the test menu disappears ... so now I'm trying to do the common trick of setting it on the phone with T610 FW on... hope it works! Member: 30601 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Mine is a T630, LCD was replaced with a new one made for T630 (green flex) but the screen appear all white. So your solution are: 1) Buy a better quality LCD ^_^ 2) Downgrade T630 -> T610 Select a darker contrast (someone say -70) then reflash to T630 There are any other solution? I have a strange idea: if contrast is regulated by a R circuit on the flex (with a trimmer) is possible to change the resistor with a right one? what do you think is possible? Someone have a schema for the contrast circuit on the flex? This is mine interpretation. Last edited by Scratch; 09-24-2005 at 12:45. |
