T630 not charging - Expert needed

Hello,

I recently purchased a non-working T630 for spare parts. As with other stuff I buy for spare parts, I tried to fix it first and was -almost- successful at it. I'm looking for expert help regarding a charging problem.

When I recieved the phone it was completely dead. Upon opening the phone I found the reason: water damage.

I started to carefully clean all the contacts with contact cleaner and toothbrush. The phone started to power on again, but would power off as soon as the power button got released unless the phone was connected to a changer or accessory, would run very slowly and display a 'charging error - stop changing' error message after a while when connected to a charger.

I then immersed the PCB in isopropanol in a ultrasonic cleaning machine. This seemed to fix the phone completely. I ran all the service tests from the service menu and everything seemed OK.

The phone was simlocked and I found the correct key to unlock it.

So the phone appeared to be 100% fixed.

Unfortunately I found there is still a charging problem. When I connect the phone to a charger, the phone behaves as it is charging, when it fact it is not. Since the phone consumes power while in charging mode, charging the phone actually discharges it slowly.

I'm using original SonyEricsson batteries and chargers which I know are working fine since I have another T630, so the problem is in the phone itself.

Any advice on this from a hardware expert would be greatly appreciated.
