I have the same problem. T68 won't switch on w/o charger. After switch on and unplug the charger, the phone works normal. If I press on/off button and hold, it switch on but if release the phone switch off.

Any idea how to fix it? which parts are fault?

Yes, there is a solution. It is similar to the Stuck-in-Handsfree solution I described a few months ago here. Wire a 2K2 resistor between vcc and pin 3 (I think).

The BGA circuit that manages the charging is probably defect and need to be replaceced. That is if it only powers on with a charger. If it powers on but shuts down when you release the on/off button its the cpu thats need to be resoldered. In 90% the cpu is glued so you have to be very carefull when you resolder it. I dont have any pictures of the t68 board so i cant show you where these components are placed.
