T68i no screen illumination and problem is not from screen - GSM-Forum

hi mates.

Have this T68i. At first i thought the screen was screwed up ut it was working ok. i checked if any of the contacts on board had a broken track but when i cehcked it with anotehr T68i all values were quite the same.

On the service manual i have it just gives nothing helpful.

anyone can help me track what is wrong pls?

I have one with exactly same problem,checked all that as you sad...
I think this is common problem on T68i,I asked on other forums about this,but nobody didnt reply with some informations how to fix phone!?
If you find any info,please,put it here on forum!

Hi mate hope u ok long time no c.

it seems to be a software problem most probably All the connections have the exact values as a good workign one which implies that hardwarewise it is working perfectly. Did not delve that much in this problem however. Will try some experiments and will let you know mate.

I tried to do something with DIV8.1,but problem remains...

Hi,

I solved 1 set T68 is a CAP shorting & 1 set T68i is same the CAP but dry joint only. I'm don't have T68 component layout picture so i try my best to show you :

------------------------.... <- Here is the CAP position
LCD contact -> I I I I I I I I I

Hope so you can understand what i'm mean & can help you something
