W300i mic problem - GSM-Forum

Have two Sony ericsson W300i both having same complaint,Mic is working but mic volume is very low,it can't be heard when i talk using the phones.I need to shout if it should be heard.Any solution for this problem ?

change mic or alter it by giving 1.2 to 2.5 kresistor

i may be a bit off but if you would could you post a picture of the phone after you put the resistor in. i cant quite understand the sketch that was provided
