w810 keypad problem - GSM-Forum

can any body help me, i got one SE W810i, keypad got problem, just right button cannot press, another button is ok, i got change the keypad ic upside of the keypad connecter but the problem also same....

I have the same prob.
but noticed after a while that there music player button is also nopt workin( the orange one)

very strange

asked a friend at a service center and he said it is a known error that they don't a solution for....
the just send back to SE

so if anybody that noticed this prob. could help us with a solution

check connector keyboard (on main board), if that is not OK, then resold IC diode brigde. If it is still that, replaced IC diode brigde.

I have the exact same problem - I have also read quite a few other people having this issue with those 2 buttons.

I changed keypads and issue remained.
I have just got the 2 keys to work by putting pressure on the middle back of the phone with one hand and pushing down at top and bottom of phone with other hand. Keys then work fine... so loose connection somewhere I assume. Will investigate further at the weekend and report back if I get it sorted properly.

I got the same problem here ! The orange Walkman button and the Right button are not working.

Has onyone got a sollution / schematics / sm for this problem ??

The Problem is definitly your connector. Replace or Repair.

i'd met same problems, the best solution that to replace new IC control keyboard. Keyboard is ok! Some myfriends is working in service centre SE also do that.

Hi i have a problem with w810 keypard the middle keys 2,5,8,0 are not working ,others are working very fine and i have change new key board still the same thing, please anyone with a solution?
