w810i - Blinking white screen with memory card - GSM-Forum

Hi guys, my se w810i was dropped in water. i got it fixed but only one problem. if i insert memory card the phone will blink white screen and do nothing else. works perfect without memory stick.

tried with different memory sticks as well, same issue.

i can open the phone up if thats what you mean. or flash it.

Hi sorry for my stupidity, just before i go ahead and do this, all i do is remove that n2980 chip (break it off) and put phone back together and it should work?

Sorry to be a pain but can someone please explain this complete solution. im a bit of a newbie. grateful for the help but im not an expert on phone repair.

As instructed from the diagram i have removed the pin but i dont understand the rest of it. what else do i do?
