W850i problem!! - GSM-Forum

hi all,
i bought a w850i from someone on ebay,he described the phone as condition:new
sim:unlocked.accessories:battery.
i mailed him to ask if a charger,headphones were supplied,mailed me back to say it was a new phone and everything came with it.

phone turned up ...just the handset,manual and data lead and locked to t mobile.
after a long dispute i got some of my money back through paypal.

ive tried to use the phone but it doesnt let me phone or text out.

someone told me it sounds like he barred it,if so is there anything i can do??

report to the police, go to you local police station take a copy of ebay receipt and payment detaisl and seller details

you might get your refund as its againest the law selling stolen phones in uk

i managed to get back most of my money back and have sinced bought a new phone,its just that ive got this phone sat here doing nowt....just wanted confirmation thats it useless so i can bin it.
