I used a multimeter to check all the connections from the USB-connector to the board/chips, and they all seem fine. Should I still do the jumper fix? I have the same problem as everyone else: phone not detected when connecting to a PC and the battery not charging. I don't get the white light in the top corner either. Only red blinking light and battery is down to 1%.

I also noticed the small backup battery on the motherboard had some oxidation/leaking. Anyone know what type of battery (voltage?) that is and could that be the problem? The phone is maybe a year old, could the main battery just suddenly die? I have tried with a different charger that used to work before, (same specs) but it doesn't charge either.

Hi.
first thanks to ansari_123. Ok, now I'm in a little problem here... I'm repairing a x10a which was previously repaired using ansari_123's method but its kinf of messy, because I think some soldering is missing... I'm asking a big favor. Please can someone complete the diagram I'm including here??... I can't tell if ansari_123 made a second jumper because I can't see it very well in his picture.
ansari_123's picture (thanks for that):

this is the x10a I have now:

this is an empty diagram I'm including. please can someone complete it please...??:

bump - I have the same problem, But the soldering is too hard for me, do the lines in the picture mean short the pins out?

I would pay someone 20 pounds to do this!
