| I only got the slowly blinking red light with this fix. I had the phone plugged in a wall charger for an hour and the battery stays at 1%. The phone did wake up after about 30 mins., but then shutdown after awhile. Is the battery so dead that not even a mains charger can charge it at this point? |

| One more thing. The D+ and D- (blue/purple) go to the IC on the other side, but how do you solder the wire to the chip? It is covered in some sort of lacquer and it's really hard to remove without damaging the parts. The IC underneath has 4 taps, but they all come off as soon as you try to heat them and there's nothing underneath! It's impossible to get the wire to stick to the chip's surface, it just doesn't stay there! Can you remove the chip and use the pads under it to solder? Is there any other place you can solder the D+ and D- ? |
