I have the same problem with my x10i. When i had try to downgrade it from version2.1 to 1.6 it became dead. Nothing happens except vibration. Has anybody got any solution for this problem? because I did try everything but did not manage it

try to repair it using riff jtag.hope this can solve your problem

man... try with SE PC suite... dont upgrade to Companion...
then go to Repair... wait to search for Models Update... select X10i... then press next...
when ask to connect phone, keep the battery out from phone for at least 10 second, put it back, hold Back button and insert USB cable... if the Led Light is GREEN... thats mean is good...

PS: minimum battery 50%, recomended 100% charged

i crushed twice my X10i trying to update it to 2.2 , each time it remain blocked at Sony Ericsson screen, or at Android screen, and must keep out the battery for 10 second to can connect it to PC after this crushes because it dont recognize it on USB

I think u need to change cpu....then full flash...we have done more then 5pcs
