Anyone made any progress with this?

I have no idea where the GSM aerial is on this phone, Im guessing that upon replacing the mother board, one of the connectors didnt clip in properly?? Without knowing which connector is the antennae, its hard to know as you are working blind.

Cheers

ORIGINAL Sony Xperia Z1 Compact D5503 antenna Bluetooth Wlan antenna

The antenna sticker is attached to the middle frame by adhesive, it basically rests on the speaker module.
BTW did you suffer any sound loss/low when you reassembled your z1 compact?

This is wi-fi/bluetooth antenna. Gsm antenna are built-in into front housing cover and it have contacts, that are connected to mainboard, if plastic holders on it are broken, then it doesn't have contact with main board = low signal. Insert mainboard into housing, take multimeter and ring this contacts. In my case metal contact on housing did not fully touch the mainboard, i made a little a substrate of foil and put it into contact, then ring it againg - all is good. After reassembling, device signal is ok (in a room with low signal rssl was -128 dbm before this solution, now it -80 dbm).

p.s. Sorry for my bad english.
