First Grand Open Source Project in Gsm Scene!!!

Hi all Gsm-Forum users,

Tonight, after a long time thinking about it, MaxRfon has taken a decision, ULTIMA BOX will go as an OPEN SOURCE PROJECT!!!

this means you will find tonight and right here one link to download the complete stuff needed to make your OWN Ultima Box and use all the scripts already made for it at this time.

This is an 88MB archive with all schematics, hex and files!!!

Everybody is invited to participate in this project and to use the files.

Keep tuned on this post, i will post more informations very soon!

Just for the ones who dont know what ultima box is :

Device description:
UltimaBox is first standalone device powered by own OS (Ultima OS) capable to execute any user code written in Pascal. This is unique solution so far in electronic devices market.

- Features:
Read/Write USB Flash disk,
Send/Receive data over UART port,
Send/Receive data over USB port;

What does this means in practice ? Ultima Box is capable to comunicate with any electronic device which has either USB or RS232 comunication protocol enabled. In short, Ultima Box can work with all devices which have a simple connector.

Technical stuff:

Power supply: 5V regulated ( in fact, best results achieved with Nokia ACP-12 charger)
2x USB A ports , 1x RJ45 (RS232) port,
96x64 pixels monochrome graphical display,
5 directions Joystick + enter and reset keys.

How does it works ?

The box it self has operating system built in. User scripts are stored on USB flash disk, and executed from file browser, hence box limitation is equal to actual size of flash disk used. You can store, for example, 1GB of User scripts or flash files on disk, and use it any time.

Motorola plugin features:
- Unlocking:
Direct unlock all LTE and Neptune based models, up to 08.0A bootloader. 08.0A and higher via test point.

Direct unlock all LTE2 based models (V360, V7, U6) using test points. In future posible direct unlock without opening.

Direct unlock all 3G Motorolas, with Micron and Intel flash chips, without opening up to 0.6.3.1 bootloader version, higher via test point. No mater of FW version.
Higher bootloader versions, via test point.

- Relock:
Ultima Box is capable to relock motorola phones, too.

This is only device which can unlock RSA enabled Motorola phones without using PC based software.

- Backup operations
It is possible to backup/restore any part of phone memory, including full flash backup, or only PDS zone.

- Flashing
Read/Write Firmware
Read/Write Lang pack
Read/Write Flex

- Repair
PDS repair on most models, using full flash and repair script.
Bootloader repair, 0x1DE, 0xDAB and other nasty error messages produced by partial or permanent damage in boot or PDS zone.

..this is a good point ... If the files are stored on Flashdisk, there's no problem to copy them, unless there's built-in a machanism which checks the Box S/N. Anyway, if the scripts are not scrambled, (even, if they're already compiled), it can be easy to patch them to work at any UBox.
but, all of these are a guesses only. I don't know UBox architecture at all (for now
