Help needed to get Unimoto working

Need help installing drivers etc

Unimoto used to work with old soft version

Am trying to get it to work with v223
If I click install driver on the 223 soft it says " looking for Motorola Modem"

If I try Booting fone with * + # + power , I get a box at bottom that says Usb Device Not Recognized message ( doent ask for drivers , possibly from an earlier install months ago)

Have also tried the Drivers uninstalling file , but this didnt help

What do I need to do to get it all working again , ( so i can unlock this Mpx200 ) ..?

Any help appreciated

Legija sent me a executable when I was having this same trouble. I have attached it for you, or anyone else having this issue. Hope it helps...just run it, then reboot, then try again with UniMoto.

Did you reboot after running it, and then plug USB into same USB port when reconnecting phone?

If you check your hardware, do you see a Motorola Smartfon modem already installed? If so, try uninstalling it, and then re-run the USB driver wipe file again. Then, reboot, and be sure to plug the USB cable into the same USB port you originally used for the MPx200.

No its me too
I also have the same prob with Gx15 usb drivers

Cannot see a Motorola Smartfon modem installed

Have just used the wipe dos soft again
Then restarted the pc
Plugged usb cable into the fone and switched it on (* # & power )
The computer says "Usb device not recognised"
If u click the message it displays a box which has a usb Root Hub (4 x usb ports )
1 x says unknown device and the other x 3 say "unused"
If I try to update its driver and point it 2 the p2k folder it says that it couldnt find a better match than the soft that is currently installed
Also if I click "Uninstall" it makes no difference
Anybody have any ideas

Well, you won't see the Motorola Smarfon Modem installed unless you have the phone plugged in Also, if you did plug the phone back in after rebooting, did you plug it into the same USB port you had previously used with the phone the last time it worked? It's hard to know exactly what you are doing on your end, so I'm just exptrapilating from your replies. All I know, is that the steps I spelled out above did work for me, as per Legija's notes.

I wish I could be more help. Maybe Legija can help you further.

Think it may have been something with the V500 fone , as I connected a V220 and it recognised it and installed drivers for it.
But dont need to unlock the V220 .

I have here an Mpx 200 to unlock , but reading all the instructions it tells u how to install all the others except the MPX200 ( always except mpx200 etc

Please Legija can u tell me exactly how to install modem drivers etc for this fone , so I can unlock it and get this customer off my back

Would be very grateful Legija , and maybe even send u the latest "Television May 2004 Cd" if u dont have it already

B.Rgds

John...
