V220

Please could somebody tell me the correct setup for unlockin the v220.

Iam able to unlock the Vxxx phones no problem.

Here is the method I use.

1. switch phone to bootloader mode
2. start unimoto software.
3. select v220 from the menu.
4. select unlock - software "connecting to server, checking user/pass, closing connection, Please switch the phone on. Waiting.
5. Switch the phone on - software "Wait 10 Seconds", then "Connected to the phone. Please wait"

The software then sits with the message "Connected to phone. Please wait" for ages and does nothing.
I have tried removing the drivers and re-installing them but I get the same message. I have tried 3 different usb cables, I have tried all 6 usb sockets on the PC, none of them are on a hub.

Please can somebody in the know help ASAP

Thnx

remove all your motorola modems and start again, if you have tried more than one usb port you will have more than one installed, try that then come back if you still dont get it working
