V980, C980 V547 unlocking hints ! - GSM-Forum

Hello dear customers,

Since lately i see many guys have temporary killed their phones, i will explain here how to use Unimoto with some models:

- V547, V635 , etc

Set to any new arm model (V550, 551, V3, etc) Put phone into bootloader mode and click "Other Unlock", and folow instructions.
All these phones with bootloader 0823 and lower shall be unlockable using this procedure.

-V980, C980
Exist two types of these phones.
With R24 and R26 firmwares. Unimoto can unlock all R24 firmware phone, using "C975" option.
Do NOT set phone model to V975, You will kill the phone

. To restore phone back, you need to reflash bootloader.

- V975
This phone has R245 firmware, and two bootloaders versions.

0.6.1.2 - Just click unlock, and folow procedure.
0.5.F.1 - First You have to upgrade bootloader to 0.6.1.2 version, and then unlock. To upgrade bootloader, you can use E1000 0.6.1.2 bootloader replacer for RSD.

Bootloaders You can find at this address:
www.legija.net/unimoto , together with some flash files, and RSD V1.81.

Hi, i killed a v980 selecting v970... Now i'm trying to reflash the bootloader but i can't. I use RSD, i select the bootloader 6.1.2 from E1000 that i downloaded from the page of legija. RSD say: restarting phone.... and then: please manually power up this phone, but the phone is dead!, i can't power the phone. Please help. BR.

E1000 bootloder will work only in INTEL flash chip based models, such as E1000 and V975.
V980 requires MICRON flash chip based bootloader. Like this for example. Why the hell You wanna flash E1000 bootloader, when V980 bootloader is there ?

Thanks, i will try this night. I was trying to flash E1000 beacuse on the first post you said:

That procedure is for V975, V980 has different firmware and flash chip, as legija said.

If you have smart-clip together with smart-moto this models are history.
